What is Platform Commission Fee
Platform Commission Fee is the amount that TikTok Shop charges to all sellers in Singapore based on the category of a product.The Platform Commission Fee is different for Marketplace Sellers and Mall Sellers.
How much is TikTok Shop's Platform Commission Fee?
From 00:00, 1st October, 2025, Singapore time, the three categories Massage devices, Hair dryers, and Curlers & straighteners will be moved from the Fashion cluster to the Electronics cluster. Their commission rate remains unchanged. Important Note
- Any product categories outside of the aforementioned tables are subject to a default commission rate of 9.810% for standard sellers and 7.085% for BXP sellers
- BXP sellers who are on “suspended” status, due to not meeting program criteria, will be charged the standard rate of the Platform Commission Fee. No additional BXP service fees will be charged when the seller is "suspended". Learn more about BXP criteria here.
- For orders with BXP-restricted products
- Orders with only BXP-restricted products will be charged the standard rate of the Platform Commission Fee (i.e.9.810% for all categories). No additional BXP service fees will be charged for these orders.
- Orders partially with BXP restricted products will be charged the discounted rate of the Platform Commission Fee (ie. 7.085% for all categories). However, an additional BXP service fee will be charged to the products that are not BXP-restricted in the order.
- Restricted BXP products include
- Category 1: Virtual products
- Category 3: infant formula, gold decorations and semi-finished gold
- For example
- Example 1: an order contains 1 infant milk and 1 gold necklace. Both items are BXP-restricted. The order will be charged the standard Platform Commission: 9.810% for infant milk, and 9.810% for gold necklace.
- Example 2: an order contains 1 infant milk and 1 pacifier. Infant milk is BXP-restricted, while pacifier is not. The order will be charged the discounted Platform Commission: 7.085% for infant milk, and 7.085% for pacifier. Additionally, the pacifier will be charged a 5.45% BXP service fee.
How to calculate Platform Commission Fee by product category?
Formula
This commission fee is calculated from the item price, minus any seller discounts. Shipping fee and TikTok Shop platform discounts are not included as part of the calculation of the commission fee.- The formula is as follows:

(Optional) Pre-order Service Fee
Starting 22nd December, 2025, sellers can choose to list pre-order products. In addition to the Platform Commission fee based on product category, all pre-order items are subject to an additional 1.09% pre-order service fee (tax inclusive) for each item sold.

- Who will be charged the commission fee?
- All TikTok Shop sellers on TikTok Shop platform in Singapore.
- What is a "valid order"?
- Valid orders are paid orders that have been successfully delivered to and accepted by the buyer. Cancelled or fully returned or refunded orders are not considered valid orders.
- How will I be charged the commission fee?
- The Platform Commission Fee charges will be deducted directly from the order settlement.
- Is the Platform Commission Fee inclusive of tax?
- The Platform Commission Fee rate in the aforementioned table is inclusive of tax.
- Where can sellers check the details of the commission amount?
- For orders that have yet to be settled, you may see them in TikTok Shop Seller Center > Finance > Transactions > To settle > View Details > Estimated Settlement Details
- For orders that have been settled, you may see them in TikTok Shop Seller Center > Finance > Transactions > Settled > View Details > Earning Details
- What does the refund process look like?
- If the entire order is returned, the full commission fee will be refunded to the seller. If part of the order is refunded, the commission fee charged on the refunded item (s) will be refunded to the seller.
- Where is TikTok Shop platform discount in the calculation of the Platform Commission Fee?
- The calculation of the Platform Commission Fee does not consider any TikTok Shop platform discount.
- Since this is a chargeable fee, will I receive an invoice describing the full Platform Commission Fee amount TikTok Shop has charged me for the month?
- Yes, you will receive an invoice the following month for the previous month's billing period. You may visit Finance > Invoice Center > Platform Service Fee to download the invoice.
